In 1971 the Interfraternity Council paved the way for Greek Life at The University of Central Florida by establishing the very first fraternity on campus. Since then, IFC has continued to be an example of what the fraternity man is truly capable of. With the comradery of a brotherhood, and the integral values that our founders built the organizations on, IFC men embody UCF’s creed. Our fraternity men continue to represent the standard for leadership on campus. Whether serving on UCF’s Senate, the President’s Leadership Council, or the SGA President our members never fail to take on responsibilities that serve in the best interest of all of the student at UCF. This, along with a huge alumni network, create opportunities that extend far past school involvement for all of our members. The average Greek students GPA is and has been higher than the average students for several years now. All this is representative of the kinds of morals, principles, and priorities that our brothers hold.
Today, there are more IFC Greek chapters than any other council at our university. These chapters continue to maintain the traditions that makes us an asset to our community. With a diverse set of chapters, and 1,500+ knights, our council is building the history that is a foundational part of the University of Central Florida. I encourage you to take a look at the fraternities that will give you the full college experience, and give the opportunity to be a part of something greater than one person.
